Natural and semi-transparent finishes are applied in a two-coat “wet-on-wet” brush application. This application method is recommended over any other for optimal results.
Water based semi-transparent sealers are applied to wood on the same day that it is cleaned. Some sealers require a waiting period after washing to allow wood to dry. This sealer is applied on moist wood so it’s absorbed as it dries.
After application, wood is dry and moisture resistant within an hour. It’s a penetrating sealer so wood remains protected and preserved for years.
